This is an interview with Rick Warren, author of 'Purpose Driven Life' His wife now has cancer, and he now has 'wealth' from the book sales. In the interview by Pau l Bradshaw with Rick Warren , Rick said:

'People ask me, 'what is the purpose of life?' And I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity. We were made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in HeavenOne day my heart is going to stop, and that will be the end of my body--but not the end of me.

I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the warm-up act - the dress rehearsal. God wants us to practice on earth what we will do forever in eternity. We were made by God and for God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to make sense. Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one. The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than your comfort God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy.

We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in Christ likeness. This past year has been the greatest year of my life but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer. Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all times you have something good and something bad in your life. No matter how good things are in your life, there is always something bad that needs to be worked on. And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is always something good you can thank God for.You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your problems. If you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness, 'which is my problem, my issues, my pain.'But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your focus off yourself and onto God and others.

We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to heal Kay or make it easy for her. It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has strengthened her character, given her a ministry of helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her closer to Him and to people. You have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life. Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden, when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me instantly very wealthy. It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to live a life of ease. So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two different passages that helped me decide what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72.

First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases. Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking a salary from the church. Third, we set up foundations to fund an initiative we call The Peace Plan to plant churches, equip leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation. Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.

We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity? Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes (for my life)? When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want to know you more and love you better.

God didn't put me on earth just to fulfil a to-do list. He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's why we're called human beings, not human doings.

Happy moments, PRAISE GOD. Difficult moments, SEEK GOD. Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD. Painful moments, TRUST GOD. Every moment, THANK GOD. '

How do one find contentment? of Self Fullfillment?

Each has their own belief and perspective, some with only life simple pleasures while others with all the happiness they think this world could give. Some find fulfilment in giving hope, comfort, strength and spontaneous act of kindness with others. It comes in different forms, a tap on the shoulder, a warm big hug, caring words and good deeds which give enormous strength and courage to those on very low self esteem so they could stand up with the test of time.
Truly, kindness from the heart should defy any reasons and need no appreciation to attain the fulfilment, the peace..the gladness and most of all the love it purposely want to serve.

Every Individual differs, factors varies with reference to race, education, opinions, traditions, character , personality and others. No two are the same, there will always be a quality that differs . It also can be notice on physical attributes, tall and short, quick and slow , jolly and sad , much more contradictions with each and every person. In general, its interesting to note that development and transformation of character and personality goes true the level of maturity of a person. Although proper education plays the big part, moral and values formation
could initially be learn from the foundation of the society which is the FAMILY.

Whether one had high perspective or view, the turning point in indifference will be on how the said observation could be well addressed. The key on this is acceptance. Acceptance that everyone was created different. It is the starting point to further to note that a character or quality of a person should not be a hindrance to promote harmony. A good view to life..a good view of a person unique quality

Laging hangad ng bawat isa ang masaya at makahulugang buhay, ang mga pagsisikap na kaakibat nito ay naayon sa pagnanais na mabigyan ng maayos at masayang pamumuhay ang ating pamilya at mga mahal sa buhay. Kung talagang pakakaisipin, ang mga pangangailangang materyal ay isa lamang sangkap upang matugunan ang mga pisikal na pangangailangan, pati na rin bigyan kasiyahan ang kaisipan at katawan.

Minsan dahil sa kakulangan ng kaalaman at pamamaraan, at upang makalampas sa mga nasabing kagyat na kadahilanan, nasasadlak sa pag gawa ng kamalian. Kahit nalilihis sa katwiran ito ay binigbigyan ng daan wag lamang mamasdan ang pagdurusa na maaring maranasan lalo na ng mga mahal sa buhay.

Sa mga may biyaya , ang mga salita sa maayos na pamumuhay ay madaling bitawan, ngunit sa tunay na nakakaranas na pagdarahop, ang pag kapit sa patalim ay isang paraan na di maiiwasan. Kung pakakasuriing mabuti sa malalim na pag aaral, ang lahat ng ito ay may dahilan at nakikita , nararanasan, nagaganap saan mang panig ng mundo. Ito ay noon pa , nanatili sa matagal na panahon, kasama na ng kasaysayan. Sa positibong pananaw, ang lahat ng ito ay may dahilan, ang bawat isa ay may misyon na maaring gampanan, maliit man o malaki..kagyat man o pangmatagalan, maaring di pa nakikita sa ngayon ang epekto at kahulugan ngunit ang mahalaga ito ay nagawa at nasimulan.

Bawat isa ay may biyaya galing sa Diyos, at nag umpisa ito sa buhay na kaloob, may maliit , may malaki, ito minsan ay binibigay sa iba ibang kaparaanan. Minsan bigla, minsan sa paraan na di natin napapansin at nakikita. Lagi lang sanang pakaisipin na ang lahat sa buhay, ang ating mga natatamasa , ito lahat ay galing sa kanya. Yon lang at magpasalamat , pagkatapos nito lahat ay ang kapanatagan ng loob na kahit saan natin hanapin ay di natin masusumpungan. Ang mga sa palagay ay may higit na biyaya ay di nangangahulugan ng mas higit na pagmamahal mula sa Kanya, alalaon baga ay ito ay patunay na may mas malalim na misyon na gagampanan sa pagpapalaganap ng Kanyang pag-ibig.
Mag balik tanaw..Hanapin sa kalooban..Tingnan at Damhin ang mga Blessings natin sa buhay…Magsaya at Magpasalamat..Isapuso ang isang makahulugang pamumuhay…

As humans we are often befall of life's unforseen struggles and obstacles, it is not our way to be prepared to be of a strong character in times that we are confronted by emotional disturbance. Although people differ on approach depending on how he handles such situation, most still search and find solace to most of our close friends for guidance and advise during those time of life trials. In doing so, these make a strong bond and camarederie that makes the union of friendship more meaningful and lot of moments to be treasured during the lifetime. Our best friends is one of life's precious blessings, we drew our much needed strength to move on, to give our best, to savor the moment of gladness in our hearts and mind. Success would not have its meaning without someone to appreciate and boost our self confidence for even the smallest triumph that had been achieve. As a rule of the thumb, bear in mind to keep holding on to a close and everlasting union of friendship..this make our life here in our world feel the essence of happy living.
